The DMBOK and CDMP Specialist Deep Dive: Data Modeling is a three-day, live, online course designed to provide a structured, end-to-end understanding of data modeling concepts, techniques, and real-world applications. Grounded in the DAMA International Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK Version 2 and Revised Edition), the course moves beyond theory to focus on how data models are created, interpreted, and used across organizations. 

Led by Chris Bradley, CDMP Fellow and former VP of Professional Development at DAMA International, this course explores the full lifecycle of data modeling. Participants will examine conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional models, learn best practices for readability and usability, and understand the tradeoffs required to design models that work in real environments. The course also addresses normalization, abstraction, lineage, indexing, dimensional modeling, and modern modeling challenges. 

Throughout the three days, participants will reinforce learning through practical examples, structured exercises, and exam-style practice questions. The course is also designed to prepare attendees for the CDMP Data Modeling Specialist exam, a required component for attaining CDMP Practitioner and Master certification levels.
